Art of Dreaming

Relish a more immersive experience through going beyond mere conversations about this year’s focus: The Art of Dreaming. Enjoy an afternoon of curated TED talks and dream with us on April 17, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:30 PM.

TEDxSalons are known for their brevity, opportunities for conversation, and heightened interactions between the speaker and the audience. This year, we’ll be talking about The Art of Dreaming in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. How have our dreams been disrupted by a sudden shift to the “new normal?” We answer this question and more during this event.

Dreams are a reflection of how exceptional the human mind is. As we go back to square one, we go beyond the usual concept of dreams and look at our dreams as our goals and inspirations in life. We also talk about how our environment contributes to these dreams.

Unspoken

Unspoken is meant to shed light on the different societal issues that are present in today’s generation and to challenge the norm. It is to raise awareness and to admit to the discrimination and hard truths of the marginalized and forgotten. The speakers were all expected to speak up about various issues, beliefs, and norms as well as to share their advocacies and efforts to bring greater good to the public.

Why Coordinate

TEDxADMU: Why Coordinate sparks hope and motivation to people by showing how each individual’s own passion and specialty has a value to a common future. In a Math problem, for every X ㄧ X as in independent, X that varies from person to person ㄧ there is a WHY (Y) that we wish to know more about. As the speakers talk about the IDEAS in their own respective fields, we hope that they would also be able to shed light on the importance of coordination. Why is there a need to coordinate in what we experience as a developing country?
